The new Narail line
The Dhaka–Jashore line over the Padma Bridge opened to passenger trains on 24 December 2024. Ruposhi Bangla Express started that day. For now it is the only train that carries passengers between Jashore and Dhaka on this short line, so its seats sell fast.

The Faridpur line
Sundarban Express began using the Padma Bridge on 1 November 2023, and Benapole Express joined the new line the next day. - In November 2023 the Dhaka–Jashore Shovan Chair fare on the Faridpur line was set at Tk 455. Long-distance fares then rose from 4 May 2024, so older lists showing Tk 455 for Sundarban are out of date.
- Nakshikantha had a Tk 210 fare for the full Khulna–Dhaka run when it began in December 2023. Ask at the counter for the Jashore fare.
- Children aged 3 to 12 need a cheaper child ticket.
